“Sit down on a little stool, “à la vietnamienne”, look at the street life and enjoy fresh and tasty dishes at very low prices. We strongly recommend the dried beef salad. Veggies were fresh and crispy, the sauce was just perfect: so delicious!” – LauraGGN (TripAdvisor)
“They say nothing taste like Hanoi autumn than Banh Com. Definitely should try for its amazing scents, softness and tastes!” – JasonB
“Pull up a tiny plastic chair, grab yourself a fresh Bia Hoi (at probably the cheapest price in the city- 5.000 dong), order some fresh street food and you’ve set yourself up for a good night in Hanoi.
This area has some of the best street food and nightlife in the city, all at cheap as chips prices and with a genuinely friendly atmosphere. We ended up back here numerous times throughout our trip to Hanoi!” – lauren2592 (TripAdvisor)
“Drink it for the cultural experience of sitting low, eating traditional food, and doing something truly Vietnamese without needing a guide.” – VNvet2015 (TripAdvisor)
“I was always taught that a good sign of a rice noodle wrap was a good silky smooth texture that wasn’t overly chewy and was soft on the tongue. I found that here. The best Banh Cuon I have had to date here in Vietnam.” – NYCTraveler68 (TripAdvisor)
“The portions were really generous, the meat was well seasoned and the soup was really flavorful. Best of all the greens were really varied and interesting, especially the weird curly stuff. It was so good that we returned on our last day in Hanoi.” – heinrichoo (TripAdvisor)
“Amazing, truly “local” institution since 1966 that lives up to it’s history. I honestly don’t like pork that much, but I eat the full bowl here. And, I think the spring rolls are the best in Vietnam. Further, I always order 10+ sticks unfried to take back home for my family to cook later. 100% recommend eating here.” – Trevor W (TripAdvisor)
“In a small street with less motorbikes is this nice place located. Had delicious fruits with sweetened condensed milk. A lot of Vietnamese people but we felt welcome as well.” – Christoph S (TripAdvisor)
“What should not be missed is the egg coffee. If you have not had this to date during your stay in Vietnam, let this be your introduction, and if you already know it, then try theirs, as it sets the bar. Decadent!” – Jim T (TripAdvisor)
